Do you have a Surface Pro 3? Have you noticed that your battery isn’t lasting as long as it used to? There’s now a fix available via a software update to resolve the issue.
Not all SP3’s were affected by this – mine certainly wasn’t. What’s more, the problem wasn’t with the battery capacity at all, rather the firmware that measured the remaining capacity was misbehaving in some certain cases (when the devices used a particular battery pack provided by a particular third-party supplier).
Microsoft have been investigating the issue behind the scene, and a fix is now available. More information here :
